Baseball: Lassen College take 2 from College of the Redwoods in 3 game series

 Lassen College Cougar baseball team beat the College of the Redwoods 2 out of 3 times. On Wednesday April 23 Lassen beat Redwoods 10-7. On Thursday Lassen beat Redwoods 11-0 with Weston Caindec throwing a 7 inning shut out. In game 2 on Thursday Lassen lost 1-0. In the bottom of the 9th inning with runners on 1st and 3rd and only one out Lassen’s Chase Dillon hit a ball that he thought hit his foot before going into play. The umpire called it a fair ball. Redwoods got the runner out at home and then got the out at first. It was a sad way for Lassen to end their season, but as we all know…… what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Looking forward to watching Lassen again next year.
