Baseball: Susanville Renegades Open their season

 The Susanville Renegades opened the 2014 season with a 3-2 record and a forth place finish in the Reno Knights Tournament.

They opened with a 13-5 loss to the Sun Devils. Justin Spinner had two hits.

In the second game Colby Chavez picked up the win for Susanville and had three hits. Spinner, Chase Dillon and Jarrell Cunningham each had two hits.

The Renegades beat Truckee 12-2 in game three and Jacob Padelford picked up the win on the mound. Daniel Perry had two triples.

Game four was the best game of the tournament as Susanville beat Carson behind a three hit performance by Garrison Collier. Perry had a home  run and a double.

In game five, the Renegades got beat by Spanish Springs 13-5. Adrik Yacelga got three hits in the losing effort.
