The Triple Threat 8th grade boys’ team went 3-0 this past weekend at the Triple Threat Spring Classic to claim their second tournament championship this year. In their first game Saturday they took down the Carson Cagers 51-36 then they followed that win with another win over Jam On It Reno 66-59. With those two wins it pushed them to the championship game Sunday against a tough Fallon team. In a hard-fought championship game that went back and forth Triple Threat came out with another victory 59-54 to claim the championship. Leading the way over the weekend in Rebounds were Nate Acosta 24, Cole Dyer 16, and Donavan Taylor with 15. Assist leaders were Brand Satica 18, Tucker St.Andre 10, and Cole Dyer with 7. Scoring leaders were Brand Satica 35, Cole Dyer 33, Tucker St.Andre 32.
