As we prepare for the summer months Vitalant needs your blood donations and Lassen Community College will be hosting their annual Spring Blood Drive on Thursday, April 27th, to help replenish stockpiles.
According to Vitalant our local blood supply depends on receiving at least 150 blood donations every day and LCC is urging all eligible donors to make an appointment now. You can make an appointment to donate at the blood drive or walk-ins are also welcome.
Please bring your photo ID with you. You can complete your health screening ahead of time to make the process a little faster at the drive. Click here to complete the screening.
Donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.
Organizers suggest that you eat and drink plenty of water before your donation and reminds donors that masks are optional on campus.
The blood drive will be held from 10:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. in the Student Union at the college.
