The Susanville Elks Lodge is undergoing some much-needed renovations at the moment, including installation of a brand new floor in the hall’s kitchen area. The work was recently completed and the kitchen will reopen on February 12th according to Elks’ spokesperson Larry Rogers.
The 150 year-old Elks Lodge, at the top of Susanville’s Main Street, is available for party and event rentals and includes a bar, several separate meeting rooms, a main hall and a kitchen for event catering. Call 1.530.257.4810 for more information.
Wanderlust Photography LLC
Wanderlust Photography will soon be opening up a new indoor studio in the Susanville Mall in uptown Susanville.
Owner, Kiersten Ladd, is planning for it to be a space for lifestyle, boudoir, portraits, newborns and cake smash photos.
Kiersten will still be doing her outdoor photography, but for days when the weather is unfavorable there will be a backup option to use the indoor studio.
Kiersten told us, “I’m very excited about this next step with Wanderlust Photography. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was younger and have been actively doing photography since 2013. I cannot wait to officially open the studio, which will have a bohemian lifestyle theme. I will be posting updates on my photography page as the studio comes together.”
