Susanville’s Blue Star Moms, a truly exceptional group of local ladies who have been supporting our Veterans, active-duty service men and women, our community, and their fellow military moms for fifteen years, will host a special luncheon tomorrow, November 18th, to celebrate their anniversary.
The luncheon will include a presentation on the chapter’s history, recognizing veterans, Honor Flight veterans and community supporters.
“We are so fortunate to live in a community that is so supportive and giving,” said Blue Star Moms’ President Joanne Darlington who added that this is a way for the group to say thank you to all their supporters.
The anniversary celebration begins at noon in the Elks Lodge, 400 Main Street, with the presentation scheduled for 1:00p.m.
