Investigators from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office are urgently seeking the whereabouts of 41-year old Susanville resident Maitland Carpenter, who they say is armed and dangerous and wanted for kidnapping a Susanville woman Monday morning.
According to details released by the LCSO, Carpenter arrived at a residence in Susanville early Monday, leaving with a woman identified as 25-year old Dorothie Janaybean Crosby (aka Miles, Janay Crosby, Janay Miles) and another male subject.
Carpenter was last seen leaving the Susanville area with Crosby who the Sheriff’s Office says is considered to be at risk and is with Carpenter against her will.
Carpenter is known to frequent the Reno and Sacramento areas.
