Make plans to join us as Anytime Fitness hosts this month’s Chamber Mixer that will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. Anytime Fitness club owner, Michael Hataway and his manager, Deb are excited to have everyone stop in and see the fitness center and share the plans that are underway for the expansion of the facility. Food and beverages will be available.
There is a limited quantity of 2013 Labor Law Posters still available for sale at the Chamber office; cost is $25.00 per poster to chamber members or/$35 per poster for non- members. The poster contains the mandatory state and federal notices that must be posted at each work place.
The 7th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is being planned for Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. The committee is already hard at work planning for another outstanding event. Mark your calendar to attend or participate in this year’s show. If you have a business that fits into the home, garden, or outdoor recreation theme of the show we hope you will plan to participate. Chamber members are being given the first chance to reserve a space. If you need more information or want an application to be sent to you contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323.
If your business, club, or organization is planning a special event be sure to forward the information to the Chamber office so the information can be added to the calendar and we can help you get the word out about your event. We are also happy to have your event tickets available for sale at the office. This is a free service provided to the entire community.
