Northeastern Rural Health Clinic is gearing up to host the Thursday, March 21, 2013 Chamber Mixer, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The mixer will be held at the Northeastern Health Clinic located at 1850 Spring Ridge Drive, Susanville. Food and no-host bar will be available. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates and we encourage you to bring a friend.

Ed Swayze, of Customer Talk, has submitted his resignation from the board. Due to conflicts of obligations he is unable to continue to serve. We thank him for his service and commitment. The Chamber board of directors is accepting applications to fill the board vacancy. Chamber members interested in representing the business community and sharing their time and talents by serving on the board are encouraged to apply. The Board is seeking candidates who have business experience, community involvement, and the desire to represent the interests of the local business community. Stop by the Chamber office, or call 257-4323 to receive an application to apply for the vacancy.  Deadline to return an application is Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

The Sacred Heart Catholic Church Auxiliary annual “Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast” will be held from 9am to 1pm, on March 24th, at Monsignor Moran Hall. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-11. Proceeds raised will benefit the scholarship fund.

The 7th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is being planned for Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.  Booth spaces are still available; a 10’x10’ booth space is $40 per booth for chamber members or $60 per booth for non-members. If your business fits into the home, garden, or outdoor recreation theme of the show we hope you will plan to participate. For more information, or if you would like an application, contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323. Information and an application for the Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show can also be downloaded from the chamber website at www.lassencountychamber.org.
