The City of Susanville has announced the appointment of Alan Hoover to the position of Golf Course Manager at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course for the 2017 Golf Season.
A graduate from the University of Washington, Mr. Hoover brings more than 15 years of experience as a head Golf Professional and Manager at golf courses throughout the northwest. According to a press release from the City of Susanville he is skilled in all phases of golf course operations from teaching to facility maintenance and marketing.
Hoover will be joining the team at the end of November and the city invites everyone to drop by the Club House on a sunny day and introduce yourself or enjoy some winter play.
“We cannot extend enough appreciation and gratitude to Interim Golf Course Manager Ron Jarrell and the many volunteers that partnered with the City and Golf Course staff to improve the course to the great condition it is in today,” said City Administrator Jared Hancock on Monday.
“Ron’s exemplary leadership and passion for the course inspires the respect and confidence from those around him.”
The City also recognized the outstanding job performed by all of our Golf Course employees, and desires to thank them for their hard work, commitment and professionalism.
