Rooptown 9 Neighborhood Watch Meeting 6:00 – 7:00pm, Susanville Senior Citizens Center, 1700 Sunkist Dr, Susanville. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month. “ROOPTOWN 9” NW area covers the west of Grand Avenue up to just West of North Roop Street and from Main to Chestnut Streets. A NW program is a group of people living in the same area who want to make their neighborhood safer by working together and in conjunction with local law enforcement to reduce crime and improve their quality of life. Susanville United Methodist HOPE Food Pantry operates out of the Social Hall (on Cottage Street) at Susanville United Methodist Church. The food pantry is open every Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. You do not need to bring any ID or proof of employment or residency with you. The wide variety of food items changes weekly and often includes produce and dairy. The volunteers will sign you in and give you a list of what food is available so you can select what you want.
