New Postpartum Support Group will meet on the third Thursday of the month at 10:30a.m., at Memorial Park. An opportunity for moms to connect with other moms. Anyone who is growing, or raising a child is welcome. This group is a way for new moms to meet, share their experiences, be heard, connect, build friendships, and know that they are not alone. Local resources will be provided, and guest speakers will be asked to participate. There will be information available on self-care, nutrition, breastfeeding, sleep, relaxation, baby care, communication, emotional well-being, relationships, mommy and me activities, parenting, and postpartum depression. Susanville United Methodist HOPE Food Pantry operates out of the Social Hall (on Cottage Street) at Susanville United Methodist Church. The food pantry is open every Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. You do not need to bring any ID or proof of employment or residency with you. The wide variety of food items changes weekly and often includes produce and dairy. The volunteers will sign you in and give you a list of what food is available so you can select what you want. Honey Lake Hospice will be holding their annual Hospice Tea from noon to 2:30 at the fairgrounds, Jensen Hall. There is a $30 donation for each ticket and they will have a silent auction. The service includes a 3-course English Tea including homemade scones with fruit jams and curds, tea sandwiches and nibbles, and desserts. Each table is decorated by a community volunteer who also acts as a server. To RSVP and purchase a ticket, call 530-249-3847. All proceeds benefit the Honey Lake Hospice.

Susanville FFA Breakfast Burrito Fundraiser starts at 9:00a.m., until they are sold out. You can find the fundraiser in the Tractor Supply parking lot. $10 for a large burrito with coffee or water.
