Lassen Union High School District Adult Programs – Computer Classes. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm., at 814 Cottage Street. This course is for students considering careers in information technology. This course will use multiple learning formats to acquire foundational concepts, knowledge and skills. This is an introduction to basic IT knowledge and skills to help you decide if a career in IT is right for you. To register for this class please call Zeane Barber at 530.257.2703.

LHS Choir Concert will be at 6:00p.m., at the Methodist Church on Lassen St.This is the first time that the LHS choir has performed a concert at the UMC. The choir this year has worked so hard, and has tackled some really challenging music. The acoustic in the church are legendary! They are singing songs like Blackbird, Seal Lullaby (EricWhitacre) Wild Mountain Time (Traditional melody) and Golden Hour (JVKE).

Join Lassen Library at their final Family Literacy of the 2022-2023 year! Join them for an afternoon at Memorial Park for a pizza party! There will be a Storytime, outdoor activities, and free books for all enrolled families. We’ll be wrapping up the year by discussing celebrating differences and diversity. On Mother’s Day, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is hosting a Mother’s Day Tea starting at 11:30 at 105 Ash St. Susanville. The Tea Party will follow church services at 10:00 a.m. There is no charge, but there will be plenty of time for sharing and enjoying tea and assorted finger foods. Everyone is invited and it is free. Please come and join us this Mother’s Day to rejoice and give thanks!

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church invites you to ‘Sunday Coffee Hour’. It takes place at 105 Ash St. in Susanville. Coffee hour starts at 11:00 am following church services at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited and it is free. Please come and join them for some refreshments, good coffee, and to spend some time meeting people!

Monday, May 15
Come join Lassen County 4-H Ambassadors Lily Ammon and Maddi Johnson on May 15th, for their final Family Fun Night in Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. More than 160 people showed up for the last Bingo Night, raising funds for the Blue Star Moms and the final event is set to benefit the Lassen County 4-H Program. The cost is $5 per book, 5 rounds per book and there is no book limit. Only 200 players will be allowed to participate. The event will start at 6:00p.m.
