The Susanville Soroptimists are bringing the culinary specialists from the Taste of Home Cooking School to Susanville to present an unforgettable evening for folks who love cooking. If you’re looking to learn a new recipe, perfect a technique or pick up the latest tips you are invited to the Veteran’s Memorial Hall on Main Street on Tuesday, November 1st.
The show will feature a master chef cooking 10 recipes from one of Taste of Home magazine’s cookbooks. Taste of Home magazine is an exchange of authentic family-favorite recipes handed down over generations and shared among loved ones.
These recipes, according to the magazine, are practical because they’re from home cooks—not gourmet chefs—and feature familiar, everyday ingredients; clear, beautiful photos; and easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions.
Along with the cooking demonstration the evening will also feature lots of raffle prizes, great vendors and a food drive.
Tickets start at $20 and are available at Susanville IGA and Margie’s Book Nook in uptown Susanville. Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 7:00.
