County Supervisors Elect Resource Conservation District Board Members

It was another packed house as people came to support the candidates for the RDC Board and the candidates spoke about their qualifications.

It was another full house at the Board of Supervisors meeting on January 15th as the supervisors selected applicants for the Resource Conservation District (RCD) Board .

After a previous controversial meeting about the prior elected candidates, this meeting provided a chance for each candidate to speak on their current qualifications.

Applicants included Michael Bartley, David Brazil, Lawrence L. Cabodi, Jesse D. Claypool, Willis Dow, Frederic L. (Les) Evans, Barbara Howe, Laurel C. Marsters, John D. Richards, David Schroeder, and Ramsey Wood.

The board elected Ramsey Wood, Jesse Claypool, and Les Evans to full term. Ā Willis Dow was elected to take over Jeff Pudlicki’s remaining term.Ā 

“I look forward to future projects and doing my best to get things done as needed, ” said Ramsey Wood.

Willis Dow, also the Lassen County Farm Bureau president also expressed his enthusiasm about being elected.

“I have some ideas to help the board Ā operate and I Ā hope in my one year term I can help turn things around and explore other projects.” said Dow.
