The Susanville Church of the Nazarene has a knitting and crochet group called ‘Chicks with Sticks’ that meets the third-Saturday of each month and they are now opening the group to new members.
The group meets each month at 10:00a.m. at the Starbucks in Safeway Starbucks.
“We would like to open the group to anyone in the community who would like to join us and we are willing to teach them to knit or crochet if they want to learn,” explains organizer Kathy Watson.
“We take on charity projects from time to time and this month we will start making hats and scarves for homeless people.”
