Deputy Arrests Wanted Suspect in Westwood After Short Foot-Pursuit

A Westwood man with a felony warrant was arrested after a brief pursuit by a Lassen County Sheriff’s Deputy on July 16th, according to details released by Sheriff Dean Growdon.

Shortly before 2:00p.m., a Deputy was on patrol and observed Wayne Cramer walking in the area of Elm Street and Fir Street in Westwood.

The Deputy, who knew that Cramer was wanted on felony warrant,Ā directed the suspect to stop. He failed to comply and was apprehendedĀ after a brief foot pursuit.

Cramer was booked into the Lassen County Jail on $200,000 bail.
