“There has been some confusion regarding zones in the City of Susanville. There has been some updates on Zones in Zone Haven within the City of Susanville. Unfortunately, these updates happened after the Zones were stated in our Press Release. The locations of the warnings remain the same, however the zone numbers have changed.
The zones inside the City of Susanville under warning are SVL-E012 and SVL-E014.
We encourage the community to check your address at community.zonehaven.com.
The Lassen County Sheriffās Office is issuing all official evacuation warnings and orders, including the ones inside the City of Susanville. We apologize for any confusion that this may have caused.
Additionally, if you live in one of the zones under warning and have medical needs that require assistance evacuating, please call 530-260-6026. Please only use this number if you need assistance. This number is not a fire information number.
The threat of gusty winds and critical fire conditions has prompted the Susanville Police Department to release a statement this afternoon reminding residents to stay alert as the Dixie Fire burns to the southwest of the Honey Lake Valley.
“With the ever-changing conditions affecting the Dixie Fire, The Susanville Police and Fire Departments would like to remind the residents of Susanville to be alert and be ready to evacuate in the event that the Dixie Fire threatens the City of Susanville.”

Please check your zone on the map and be prepared if either an evacuation warning or order are issued.
“The City of Susanville is working to keep the residents safe and up to date on fire information. Currently the following zones may be impacted, SVL-E004 and SVL-E005. If you have medical needs that will require assistance evacuating, please call 530-260-6026 and leave a message. Your information will be placed on a list provided to first responders.”
