The festive homecoming atmosphere was somewhat dampened tonight at Arnold Field as the visiting Shasta Wolves scored a touchdown only eight seconds into the game, and from that point on Lassen had the difficult task of playing catch-up with a strong opponent.
Despite pulling within one touchdown in the final minutes of the fourth quarter Lassen came up short, losing to Shasta 42 – 35.
Lassen’s record drops to 3-3 on the season and 0-2 in NAL play.
The Lassen Freshman squad lost 34-7 and the Junior Varsity team lost to Shasta 27-0.
Next Friday, October 18th, Lassen will be at Anderson High School and Niki will be there broadcasting the game live, don’t miss it!
