Donna Lee Johnson
Donna Lee Johnson born in Tulary, California Aug. 12th, 1951, passed on Oct. 2nd, 2021. She had lived in Lost Hills California, and Montello Nevada before moving to Susanville in 1962. She married Walter Irvin Johnson on December 16, 1968, and had been married 50 ½ years before his passing on June 3rd, 2018.
Donna had two children, Rachelle Lee Yett and Irvin DeWayne Johnson. Donna had 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Three grandchildren from Rachelle were Jessica Brasher, Trisha Daly who proceeded Donna in 2019, and a step-grandchild, Tara Daly. Jessica made Donna a great grandmother with twin boys Asher and Zayne. DeWayne had two boys that are Tyler and Dylan Johnson.
Donna’s mother Joan Long continues to live in Susanville and Donna’s Father Roland Long passed, sister Karen Dowden, granddaughter Trish Daly and husband Walter Irvin Johnson proceeded her in death. Donna worked at Wendel Green Houses, Flying J, Holiday Supermarket, US Bank, and the California Correctional Center where she retired in 2000 with almost 20 years. She enjoyed her yard work, quilting, fishing, canning, sewing, purple hat society, fair booster, high school reunion comity, 4-H leader for sewing and dog project.
Services for Donna Johnson will be on December 4th at 11:00 at Walton’s Colonial Chapel.
