Dorothy Mae Tassi – October 10, 2015

Dorothy Mae Tassi

Dorothy Mae Tassi was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 29th 1923, and passed on to Heaven on October 10th 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Tassi, and granddaughter Kelly Dawn Berry. She is survived by her very loving son Randy Tassi and daughter-in-law Janice of Susanville, California, and one daughter Christine Reed of Carson City, NV.

Dorothy dearly loved her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She worked for many years as a Waitress/Manager of Walker’s Coffee Shop and then later on for Peggy Rose’s clothing store. Dorothy was always working and of service to many in our community, even putting in a few years at Ace hardware.

The consensus of those who knew Dorothy long, considered her to be “A real kick, very entertaining, a great joy, and very informative”, to name a few, and that is naming just a few!

Dorothy lived life on her own terms. She was a take charge, in charge kind of person and most people let her be. She was blessed to have had a great number of beautiful friends whom she loved and enjoyed. Dorothy wanted her obituary to be short by telling me to just say “she lived and she died”. Well she did for almost 92 years and now may she rest in peace.

By her request, there will be no services.

Why Pre-plan?

Thinking about your own funeral leaves most people feeling a little uneasy, but more adults are finding that pre-planning a funeral offers great emotional and even financial security for them and their families. With pre-planning, families find comfort in knowing that the funeral reflects what their loved one wanted. It also gives them peace of mind to not have to make important decisions at a stressful time. Click here to visit Walton’s Funeral Home
