There will be an Earth Day march and clean-up in Susanville this morning, April 22nd.
The clean-up march will begin at the Lassen Historic Museum, 115 N. Weatherlow, at 10:00a.m. and then follow a route up Main Street and back down North Street picking up trash along the way. The march will end at Memorial Park.
“We will be picking up trash and urge people to bring gloves and trash bags,” said organizer Julie McKee. “Also, we will be celebrating Earth Day by carrying various earth friendly signs.”
Participants are also invited to bring a lunch and join in a picnic at noon in the park.
