Lassen National Forest has announced that the order closing areas because of the Dixie Fire has now been terminated and people are once again invited to recreate in the district.
“We appreciate the support and patience of the communities as we evaluate the continued impacts from the Dixie Fire,” said LNF Forest Supervisor Deb Bumpus.
“Use caution while traveling through the burned area and be safe.”
Bumpus added that there is a possibility that the Closure Order will be reinstated once restoration work begins in 2022.
