Lassen County’s most exciting week of the year is here! The 2023 Lassen County Fair, which runs through July 23rd, kicks off this evening with the annual 4H fundraiser BBQ.
BBQ beef tri-tip or chicken, baked potato, green salad, roll and dessert are all on the menu from 5:00 to 6:30 at the fairgrounds.
You can purchase discounted tickets ahead of time from the Fair Office, any 4H member or at the CE/4H office, 707 Nevada Street.
Dinner is $15 a plate and to-go dinners are available.
The proceeds from the fundraiser are used to fund county wide 4H events like Presentation Day, Home Arts Extravaganza, the 4H Fashion Review, Dog Show, Horse Show, skills days, leadership conferences, study travel, record book medals and year end pins.
