Because of a fault in PG&E’s Caribou line Lassen Municipal Utility District customers are currently receiving electricity from the Honey Lake Power plant in Wendel.
According to Public Relations Manager Theresa Phillips LMUD will remain in an islanding situation with Honey Lake Power until the Caribou line has been repaired and the system can return to normal operations.
LMUD has been receiving power from HLP since 12:30 this morning.
