There will be a fundraising benefit for 14 year-old Chester resident Angela House this Saturday, November 5th, at the Chester Memorial Hall, from 1:00 to 5:00p.m.
At the age of 12 House, who was born and raised in Chester, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and was in remission for one year until May of this year when her cancer relapsed. She is currently being treated at Lucile Packard’s Children’s Hospital where she underwent a clinical trial and received a bone marrow transplant.
Entertainment will include music by Indian Valley Academy Choir, performers from House of Dance and Susanville’s Best of Broadway along with a live performance by the band Forgery.
Lunch will include soup, bread and salad with dessert.
Cost of admission is a donation and all money raised at the event will go to Angela and her family.
