All Lassen Community College students completing a certificate or degree by May of 2020 must submit a Petition to Graduate in order to be evaluated, have their degree or certificate posted to transcripts or receive a diploma.
Even if you don’t plan to walk in the graduation ceremony, you still need to submit a petition to graduate. If you have already turned in a petition, but have moved since it was submitted, please contact the Counseling Office to update your address.
Forms must be submitted by April 17th, and are available in the Counseling Office and on the graduation page of the LCC website.
If you do plan to walk in the Graduation Ceremony and want to be included in the program, you must submit the appropriate form prior to April 17th, 2020.
In late April, letters will go out to all students who have petitioned providing information about the Graduation Ceremony. If you would like to walk in the ceremony, you will need to return paperwork and purchase a cap and gown. There will be a graduation rehearsal a day or two before the ceremony.
Graduation for the college will be held May 22nd at 5:30p.m., in the LCC Sports Complex.
All family and friends are invited to attend. No tickets are required. There will be a reception in the Cafe/Student Union following the ceremony.
