‘The Internet home of all things Susanville’ first went live on September 22nd, 2003, and now, more than two decades later, we are Lassen County’s most powerful online source for news and information – reaching 100,000 people each month, from countries around the world.

Each day SusanvilleStuff reaches an average of 30,000 readers through our flagship Susanvillestuff.com website and our associated social media platforms.

Our website has become the lens that the world sees Susanville and Lassen County through. A fact we are truly proud of, and a responsibility we are keenly aware of.

To those of you come to SusanvilleStuff each day to get your local news, information and features. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

We could not have made it all these years without our fantastic advertising clients who allow us to exist, our loyal readers, our awesome supporters and the super-talented folks who contribute to our site.

Back in 2003 SusanvilleStuff.com was just a wild idea – a place on the ‘world wide web’ where Susanville folks, and their neighbors, could get caught up on local news, share stories, and learn about our little corner of the world.

It took a great deal of convincing to get people to see the value of a news website back then. The secret that we had discovered was that internet allowed us both the immediacy of radio, with the depth of the newspaper – the best of both media worlds was at our fingertips. To us the future was obvious. We just had to wait a few years for the world to catch up to us.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve become the most-visited and most-trusted online news source in town. That makes us very proud.
