HOPE Pantry and Lassen HEARTS/MCAH Unite to Serve Families of Susanville

Every Friday afternoon, between 3:00 and 6:00, the United Methodist Church’s Hope Pantry in Susanville opens their door and provides food to Susanville’s families in need.

During the month of October the organization held a ‘Baby Essential’ drive collecting diapers, wipes and formula. Community members, church members, the Susanville Weight loss Support Group and many others donated.

The Baby Essentials collected were given to Lassen HEARTS/Maternal Child Adolescence Health programs at Lassen County Public Health for distribution.

“The most asked for needs are diapers and wipes,” explains Ronda Hall from Lassen County Public Health.

“We are pleased to announce that we have these essentials available, while supplies last, to families that are in need at Public Health 1445 Paul Bunyan, Susanville.”
