The annual Susanville Supermarket IGA Hometown Kids Fest takes place this morning, August 5th, in the grocery store’s parking lot at Main and Grand in Susanville.
Kids of all ages are invited to come take part in the event which features a carnival of games, activities, food, strolling characters and is also a fundraiser for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
Joining in the fun will be the Planters Nutmobile, Chipper the CHP Chipmunk, Dandy the Smokeless Dragon, the Kool-Aid Man and more.
All of this is free thanks to the nice folks at Susanville Supermarket IGA and a host of sponsors and organizations that contribute each year.
The party starts at 10:00a.m. and ends at 2:00.
