Laughter and learning filled the air at Janesville School on March 27th, as students and families experienced The Wacky Science Show, an interactive, educational program led by renowned performer Doug Scheer.
Throughout the assembly students were entertained by wacky experiments, mind-blowing demonstrations, and hands-on participation, all designed to teach scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way.
More than a dozen students had the chance to take part in live experiments, putting science in their hands while learning about topics such as air pressure, states of matter, chemical reactions, kinetic energy, and more.
In the evening, families returned for a special after-hours science night, where parents and children explored STEM concepts together through engaging demonstrations and interactive learning.
The event provided an exciting opportunity for families to experience science beyond the classroom, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Janesville School was thrilled to host Doug Scheer and The Wacky Science Show, a nationally recognized program known for making science fun and accessible for students of all ages.
The event was a huge success, and we look forward to bringing more hands-on, educational experiences to our students in the future.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event such a memorable experience!
