Janesville School will be holding a Kindergarten Round-up on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 8:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. Lassen County Public Health will be on hand to provide free dental screenings to any prospective Kindergarten student. Speech screenings will also be available.
Parents and students can visit the current Kindergarten classrooms.
Children must be five on or before September 1st, 2019 to be eligible to attend Kindergarten. Children who turn five between September 2nd and December 2nd, 2019 are eligible to attend Transitional Kindergarten.
If you have or know of anybody in the community with children in this age range, please encourage them to call our office at 253-3551 and/or attend the Round-up.
The following information is required in order to register your child:
• Current Immunization Record
• Birth Certificate
• Oral Health Assessment
• CHDP/Wellness Examination
Even if you are missing these documents, it is important to begin the registration process. School begins on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 and registration packets are now available in the school office.
