Guess Plumbing: Section 3 Workers
Guess Plumbing are currently hiring Section 3 workers for the Cascade Village project in the City of Shasta.
Section 3 ensures that employment and other economic opportunities are directed to public housing residents and other low-income persons, to the greatest extent feasible, particularly recipients of government housing assistance and local businesses that provide economic opportunities to low and very low income persons and Section 3 Workers.
All Public Housing Residents qualify as Section 3 Residents. Additionally, individuals residing in Shasta County who meet specified income limits can also qualify for Section 3 status.
For Redding, California.
Job includes:
Typical construction duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, standing for extended periods of time, walking short and long distances, digging, sweeping, raking, shoveling, moving materials in a wheelbarrow or bucket, and running light duty power equipment (jackhammer, tamper, concrete saw). Must be able to lift up top 75 Lbs., overhead. Must be able to carry 75lbs., a short distance. The job will also include assisting plumbers with measuring, cutting, pipefitting, hanging pipe, grading pipe, replacing plumbing fixtures, troubleshooting plumbing problems in a residential and commercial setting, while being safety focused and providing outstanding customer service to our vast and diverse clientele.
Minimum 1 year construction experience necessary.
Wage: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour DOE with opportunity for advancement.
