Herlong Public Utility District: Wastewater Operator and Maintenance Person
Wastewater Operator and Maintenance person needed for Herlong Public Utility District. Operators are involved in the maintenance, repair and operation of wastewater and water systems.
Operator would work under the direction of a senior personnel and perform work in connection with the operation, maintenance, construction, and repair of facilities. The ability to work independently or as a member of a team to efficiently and productively provide assistance as needed. The ability to perform a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual and automated tasks. Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment; basic knowledge of District operations and materials used in potable water and wastewater. Basic knowledge of computers, including ability to use, or learn within a reasonable time, the treatment plant’s and water system’s data acquisition and control system.
Hourly compensation $19.00 – $30.00 with possibility to earn standby pay, overtime pay, and some incentive pays. Must pass a drug test.
