positions for the 2025/26 school year:

Substitute Bus Driver
SCHOOL SITE:
Janesville Union Elementary School
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on the Classified Salary Schedule (Range: $21.8 l
to $23.59 dependent upon experience).
HOURS:
As needed
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid California Class B
Driver’s license with a passenger endorsement. School Bus Driver’s
Certificate: valid Medical Cc11ificate Form DL 51-A: and Red cross First
Aid. CPR Certificate or comparable. Knowledge of local roadways and
special driving problems and techniques caused by frequent inclement
weather: safe driving practices: California Motor Vehicle Code.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person and/or on the
telephone; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of
hands and fingers; kneeling, bending at the waist and reaching overhead,
above the shoulders and horizontally: climbing, walking over rough or
uneven surfaces; moderate stress level.
