The Susanville School District announces the following certificated vacancies for the 2025-2026 school year.
POSITION:
Transitional Kindergarten Teacher at McKinley School
2nd Grade Teacher at McKinley School
7th Grade Teacher at Diamond View School
Title One Tier III 6th-8th grade Instructional Support Teacher at Diamond View School
REQUIREMENTS:
Transitional Kindergarten: Possession of a Multiple Subject credential with an English Leamer authorization. In addition, applicants must meet the additional requirements for TK teachers pursuant to Education Code section 48000 by having 24 units in early childhood education/child development (ECE/CD) or have 6 units in ECE/CD to qualify for a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.
2nd Grade:
Possession of Multiple Subject Credential with an English Leamer authorization.
7th Grade Teacher:
Possession of Multiple Subject Credential with an English Learner
authorization.
Title One/fier III:
Possession of California Multiple Subject Credential with English Learner
Authorization.
SALARY:
$51,125-$77,330 (appropriate placement on salary schedule dependent upon education &
experience, up to a maximum of twelve years full time teaching experience will be granted.) Intern salary placement- $50,123.
Health Benefit premiums paid 100% by District: Medical, dental, vision, pharmacy & life
insurance for employee and family.
