It’s time for the official kick-off to the holiday season with the Reno Dance Company’s special performances of the Nutcracker at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Susanville.
The Lassen County Arts Council and Susanville’s Best of Broadway have worked together to setup three shows, matinee performances at 2 p.m., today and tomorrow and an evening show at 7:00 tonight. The production features more than 70 local dancers dancing alongside the Reno Dance Company!
Tickets for The Nutcracker are now only available at the Veterans Memorial Hall and are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets will be limited so its best to get there early, especially for the evening performance.
Hundreds of local residents travel to Reno each December to see The Reno Dance Company perform this spectacular ballet at the Nugget, so it is pretty neat that this year we can see it right here at the Veterans Memorial Hall.
Reno Dance Company is a non-profit organization providing an intensive program of excelled dance training and performance opportunities to local professional artists. Through professional productions presented in Reno-Sparks, Tahoe, and several rural cities of Nevada and California, RDC enhances each community’s awareness and respect for art and entertainment.
We took our SusanvilleStuff cameras to dress rehearsal at the Veterans Hall this morning to give you a preview of the show!
