Lassen and Modoc National Forest’s OHV Grant Proposal Available for Review and Comment

Each year, the Lassen National Forest has an opportunity to submit grant applications to the California State Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division for consideration for funding in support of the Forest’s on-going Off-Highway Vehicle program.

The Division is currently soliciting proposals for the 2020 grant cycle, and the Lassen National Forest is considering a law enforcement project for submission for OHV area patrols and enforcement.

Preliminary applications for the 2020 projects will be made available for review and comment on the OHMVR Division’s website at http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/ beginning March 3rd, 2020.

A link to that website is available from the Lassen National Forest website at https://www.fs.usda.gov/lassen/.

In addition to the OHMVR Division’s website, public comments regarding the proposed project may be submitted in writing to Adam Hill, Patrol Captain, at 2550 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA 96130, or electronically to [email protected] by May 4th, 2020.

Public comments will be used to finalize the proposal application. Final applications are due to the OHMVR Division by June 1st, 2020.

For more information, please contact Adam Hill at 530-252-6400.
