Supporting Displaced Teenagers (Teen 101)

Teenagers are naturally challenging and become even more so when displaced, like the foster care system. Therefore, acknowledging their unique needs takes patience, dedicated awareness and respectful understanding. Natalie will guide you through this complex maze providing insight and techniques to connect with transitioning young adults. Such as:
• Emotional dissonance
• Loyalty to familial connections
• Sense of belonging
