Because of recent mountain lion activity on the campus of Lassen Community College, school administration is asking the community to refrain from walking on campus including the perimeter road and track.
The road and track, which are popular with local walkers and runners, are closed until further notice.
“LCC will notify the community once it is safe to resume walking/running activities around campus and thank you for your understanding and support,” said college Public Information Officer Julie Johnston.
