Lassen Community College Adds Two New Late-Start Classes for Fall Semester

collegelogo Lassen Community College today announced the addition of two late-starting classes to the schedule for the Fall 2016 semester.

Basic Skills 170

Life has its ups and downs but take your first step to going in the right direction by earning your high school credential at Lassen College. Register today for BS (Basic Skills) 170 to complete your high school education and kick start your career. Course begins August 22, 2016

Course meets: Monday –Thursday, from 8:30-12:30
Location: HU 213/214

This is a 0 credit open-entry open-exit class that is part of the Lassen County Steps to Success certificate program.

Physical Education Activity Course – 16

LCC is now offering PEAC-16 Walking for Fitness with instructor Carrie Nyman. This 1 unit class starts August 22nd through November 16th.
PEAC-16-M0719 MW 11:00-12:50
PEAC-16-M0756 MW 4:30-6:20

Students will participate in a brisk walking program that will enhance their cardiovascular conditioning and endurance.
