The County of Lassen’s Housing Rehabilitation Program is now accepting applications and interested Southern Lassen County homeowners, including residents of Doyle, Herlong and Milford, are encouraged to apply.
If your home is in need of repairs, the County’s Housing Rehabilitation Program can help. Financing through the progam is available to address health and safety issues such as repairs to major housing systems as well as healthy/safety code compliance.
In order for properties to be eligible for financing they must contain a legal residential structure intended for continued primary residential occupancy in the form of a single-family home or mobile home on a permanent foundation.
Interested owners are required to certify: 1) they are the owner of the property in need of repairs and 2) their household’s annual gross income is below the income limits set forth by the State of California’s Department of Housing and Community Development.
Household income is calculated by projecting income to be received, prior to any deductions, during the coming 12-month period from all household members over the age of 18.
