The Susanville Symphony’s Academy of Music will hold its yearly Spring Recital Tuesday night, at 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. The concert gives students of the Academy a chance to show off some of the new musical skills they have developed over the course of the year. Donations will be welcome at the door. Everyone is invited to come on out and see your favorite rodeo events, including bareback riding, bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, breakaway roping, goat tying and barrel racing at the Lassen College Rodeo, March 30th and 31st. Admission to the rodeo is free and rodeo action starts each day at 4:00 p.m., in the college’s arena. Friday night, March 30th, directly after the rodeo, the Lassen College Rodeo team will host their Scholarship Banquet at Jensen Hall. The evening will include a tri-tip dinner, dance, auction and raffle. The annual Susanville Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 31st, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds! All Susanville kids are welcome to come hunt for Easter eggs. The gates open at 8:30 and groups start at 9:00 with a different age group starting every 10 minutes. 9:00 for Under 2, 9:10 for Ages 2 to 4, 9:20 for Ages 5 to 7, and 9:30 for Ages 8 to 10. The Easter Bunny will be at the fairgrounds so bring your cameras for a photo opportunity.
