Lassen County Public Health will be putting on a free Oral Health Clinic from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at 1445 Paul Bunyan Rd. Ste B. This event will include a free dental screening for pregnant women, new moms and children ages 0 to 18. Fluoride varnish will be available for children with parental consent.

The annual Fairways for Football Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for the Lassen High Football Boosters organization, at Diamond Mountain Golf Course. Check-in for the 4 person scramble tournament is at 7:00 with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. A $100 per person entry fee will include green fees, unlimited range balls, a shared cart and a barbecue lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed male and female. There will also be a ‘closest to the pin’ competition with cash prizes for the top three teams. Deadline to enter is September 15th.

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Posse will be holding their annual ‘Saddle Up for St. Jude’ event at Susanville Ranch Park. Come spend a fun day enjoying friends and a great horse ride all while 100% of the proceeds go directly to the St. Judes Medical Hospital. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and the ride begins at 10:00. Lunch will be provided and fun door prizes to top of the day.
