The annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is planned for Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. The event is always well attended so it is worthwhile to showcase your business at this one day show. Indoor and outdoor 10’x10’ booth spaces are still available on a first-come- first-served basis. The Chamber represented Lassen County at the Reno Outdoor Recreation, RV & Boat Show that was held on March 18th thru 20th. Volunteers who worked the booth spoke to attendees and handed out information about outdoor activities and events in Lassen County. This is the first time in over 20 years that an effort has been made to promote Lassen County in this fashion. Thank you to our volunteers who helped promote Lassen County and helped man the three day show; Rod Chambers, Jean Coye, Henry and Kitty Edson, Tony Shaw, Angie Crowley, Shawn Lee, Margaret Liddiard, Sarah Garate, Gary Felt, Susan Quale, and Bill Payer. Our commitment to the show was a big step forward in promoting our County to potential tourists.
The Chamber office is open Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm. We are located at 75 North Weatherlow Street and can be reached at 257-4323. The Chamber staff is available to provide information to those visiting the community and who are looking for area and business information.
