At the April Chamber board meeting held last week, the board selected Mandy McGarva of Pezzullo and Gussett, CPA, as the newest member of the board of directors. The 8th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 10am to 4pm, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Business that falls in the home, garden or outdoor recreation categories are encouraged to participate in the show. High Sierra Collision and Towing will host the Thursday, April 24, 2014 Chamber Mixer from 5:30pm to 7:30pm; they are located at 472-635 Johnstonville Rd., Susanville. Food and no-host bar will be available. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates and we encourage you to bring a friend.
Chamber members should be sure that the Chamber’s information center has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Chamber has partnered with Spring Hill Press to produce an updated Lassen County area map. April marks the last month for the project before it goes to print. Spring Hill Press representatives will be wrapping up the advertising campaign this month. In addition to a featured ad on the map, a link will be added to the Chamber website with an online map that will display your advertising, contact information, link to your website, and business location on the map.
