The Chamber Board invites the community to join us for a ‘Meet and Greet’ event to welcome new City Administrator, Mike Wilson, and City of Susanville Chief of Police, Kevin Jones, on Thursday, April, 11, 2019, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, at the Susanville Elks Lodge. Area business owners, Chamber members, and the community are invited to attend to welcome the new City Administrator and Chief of Police, share your concerns and challenges with them, and learn about their goals and what changes they plan to make in their new roles. This is an opportunity to hear from each of them and ask questions. Appetizers and no-host bar will be available. Please make plans to join us.

Mark your calendar to attend the Thursday, April 18, 2019 Chamber Mixer and celebrate High Sierra Collision & Towing’s 20 years in business anniversary as they host, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at 472-635 Johnstonville Rd., Susanville. Food, no-host bar and great prizes will be given away. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates.

The 2019 Spring Show that will be held on Saturday, April 27th, from 10am to 3pm, and will be held at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. If you are a business that falls in home, garden, recreation, or you are a wedding vendor we hope you will sign-up to participate. The one day show is a great way to advertise your business or service to over 1500 people who, on average, attend the show each year. Food and beverage will be available and public entry into the show is free. Stop by the Chamber office to pick up an application or call 257-4323 to have an application forwarded to you. An application can also be downloaded from the Chamber website www.lassencountychamber.org .

The Chamber board is pleased to welcome Theresa Phillips, LMUD Public Relations Manager, as the newest member of the board of directors; she was elected at the March board meeting to fill an unexpired board seat. She brings a wealth of past experience to the board, and is well connected to many organizations and the community. Please join us in welcoming her as the newest member of the board of directors.
