The City of Susanville is sponsoring the annual “City Clean-up Day” on Saturday, June 21st.  Those interested in participating are asked to meet at Memorial Park at 7:30am where assignments will be provided for work to begin at 8am and end at noon.  Following the clean-up, participants will be provided lunch at Memorial Park.

Clean-up tools and equipment will be provided, but participants are asked to bring gloves, safety glasses, shovels, rakes, power blowers, weed eaters, other garden equipment and pick-up trucks for hauling. Specific clean-up areas are being designated, with other areas to be cleaned depending on support for the event.

Everyone is welcomed to join in on the clean-up day.  Organizations, groups and businesses can pre-schedule assignments by calling Ted at 257-5152 after June 10, between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  Any other questions regarding the clean-up event can also be directed to Ted.
