The Chamber has received the 2021 Labor Law Posters, that feature the required federal and state notices. Businesses who preordered a poster can stop by the Chamber office, Monday thru Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
If you did not pre-order a poster but need to have an updated copy, there is a small quantity available on a first-come-first-served basis. Stop by our office located at 1516 Main Street, to purchase one.
California businesses are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business; cost is $30.00 each for Chamber members or $40.00 for a non-member.
At the January Chamber board meeting Bre Glass, General Manager of Milwood Florist and Treats Pet Supply and Rachael Schroeder, Manager of Bottle & Brush Art Bar, were welcomed as the newest members of the board.
The board meeting included training, discussion of goals for the year, and review of the Chamber’s Strategic Plan. An overview of the board member’s roles and responsibilities were also reviewed. The board hopes to get back to normal activities in the coming year.
The following event committees were formed; Spring Show (Sat. April 24, 2021), Main Cruise Car Show (Sat., June 27, 2021), Lassen Co. Fair Parade (Sat., July 17, 2021), and Magical Country Christmas (Sat., December 4, 2021).
Be sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
