C& S Waste Solutions, Farmers Insurance/Michelle Hunter, and Town & Country Real Estate will team up to co- host the August Chamber Mixer that will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The mixer will be held at the C&S Waste Solutions, located at 471-825 Diane Drive, Susanville. Stop by to enjoy a BBQ dinner of chorizo and tri-tip, a variety of salads and baked beans, live music featuring Fourgery, and a chance to win a Las Vegas vacation! They invite everyone to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend- everyone is welcomed.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, August 14, for the monthly board meeting, beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the Hotel Conference Room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
Be sure to mark your calendar to attend Lassen County’s 150th Anniversary Celebration that is being coordinated by the Chamber. The event will be held on Friday, September 5, beginning at 6pm, in Memorial Park Susanville. Live music, food, drinks, and no-host bar will be available. The County Anniversary Committee is hard at work preparing for this special celebration and invites the community to join in the celebration.
